Job Overview:
We are a specialist cleaning and ventilation contractor seeking a dedicated Team Leader for our Grease Hygiene division. Our clients include national hotel groups, restaurant chains, and food-on-the-go brands, all requiring the highest hygiene standards. As members of BESA, we provide comprehensive training to ensure all team members meet industry best practice. The role involves leading a team of hygiene technicians, delivering cleaning services, and maintaining compliance with hygiene and safety regulations across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites across the UK to deliver grease hygiene services.
- Clean ventilation systems, including canopies, ductwork, and fan units in line with TR19 standards.
- Install access panels where required to support compliance and maintenance.
- Work safely in confined spaces and at height, following site-specific safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments before starting work.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of hygiene technicians to achieve operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience working at height and in confined spaces preferred.
- Hold a General Hygiene Technician (GHT) qualification and experience with TR19 ductwork cleaning.
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff development.
- Flexible approach β shifts may begin late afternoon/early evening and involve overnight stays.
