Electrical Inspection & Testing Engineer * Location: Staffordshire * Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) * Job Type: Full-time, Permanent * Hours: 50 hours per week (paid door to door) * Overtime: Available A well-established compliance services provider is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Inspection & Testing Engineer to join its growing team. As a key team member, you will contribute to all aspects of technical operations and play a vital role in the effective delivery of electrical compliance services. You’ll be working within a committed, professional team in a company that values performance, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Conduct electrical inspections and testing for a broad range of clients * Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports aligned with project scopes * Support continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery * Identify and resolve technical and non-technical issues in a timely manner * Promote and maintain efficient working practices and team collaboration * Experience & Skills Required * Proven experience in thermography and emergency lighting system testing * Familiarity with various types and ages of electrical systems and equipment * Qualified to City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent, with strong inspection and testing experience * Solid understanding of BS7671 (as amended 2018), modern test equipment, and relevant standards * Competence in risk assessments and safe working practices * Strong communication and organisational skills, particularly with documentation * Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail * Adaptable to diverse work environments and client needs * Eagerness to learn and develop, supported by in-house and external training * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile technologies * Desirable but not essential: knowledge of the electrical engineering industry, fault finding on electrical systems, and experience with ISO standards Benefits Competitive salary * Company vehicle provided * 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * All tools, equipment, and uniform supplied * Full training provided * On-site parking
