A specialist electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full site responsibility for the duration of a warehouse electrical fit‑out project based in Sittingbourne (South East). The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day site operations, oversee electrical installation works, control labour and subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to specification. A strong understanding of health & safety, electrical sequencing, and industrial/commercial environments is essential. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role requiring confident leadership and the ability to work autonomously while coordinating closely with the Project Manager and client teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all on‑site electrical works from start to completion
  • Oversee electrical subcontractors and direct labour to maintain productivity and quality
  • Ensure works are delivered to programme and in line with specifications
  • Enforce health & safety compliance, RAMS, and site procedures
  • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
  • Coordinate electrical activities with other trades on site
  • Monitor progress and provide Streit reports to the Project Manager
  • Maintain accurate site documentation (daily reports, deliveries, QA records)
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in a Site Manager or similar site‑lead role
  • Proven background in electrical installations (industrial or commercial fit‑out)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site compliance
  • Ability to manage labour, subcontractors, and site logistics
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident decision‑maker with a proactive approach
Qualifications
  • SMSTS (essential)
  • CSCS Site Manager / Supervisor Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
