Salary: Β£45,000 – Β£50,000 per annum

Overview:
A leading healthcare construction company is seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare infrastructure projects. This role involves managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background and experience working within complex healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
β’ Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage variations
β’ Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure financial control
β’ Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating where appropriate
β’ Produce regular cost reports and maintain accurate records of expenditure
β’ Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards
β’ Support project delivery within live healthcare settings, ensuring minimal disruption
Essential Qualifications:
β’ Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
β’ Proven experience in construction project cost management
β’ Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
β’ Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office β’ Prevous experince as a quantity surveyor.
Desirable Experience:
β’ Previous experience in healthcare construction projects
β’ Knowledge of NHS or similar healthcare compliance standards
β’ Experience with risk management and value engineering in construction projects
β’ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
