Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager\\nLocation: West Midlands / Midlands / East Midlands\\nContract Type: Permanent\\n\\nRed Rock Consultants are working with a privately owned company known for delivering high-quality ducting installations across a range of industries.\\n\\nOur client provides galvanised, plastic, stainless steel, and fire-rated ductwork solutions, partnering with major construction and M&E companies to deliver complex projects with precision and expertise.\\n\\nPosition Overview\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Ventilation / Ducting Project Manager to join our client's growing team. This is a critical role that involves overseeing the delivery of ducting installations, leading a team of supervisors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Strong commercial awareness is essential.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead the successful delivery of ducting installations, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage and motivate a team of supervisors, while fostering strong relationships with clients and other trade contractors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Oversee the release and monitoring of work packages to subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure all areas of the project are completed and handed over to the client to a high standard—from pre-commissioning through to commissioning.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Procure all equipment necessary for ducting installations, managing inventory and ensuring timely procurement.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Take responsibility for the control of installation and testing of complex ductwork systems, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage site engineering and construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring alignment with project specifications.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Review and validate construction and design drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Coordinate across teams to ensure smooth execution of ducting systems, including general supply/extract and fire-rated ductwork.\\n\\nEssential Qualifications & Skills\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience managing ducting projects, with a focus on ductwork installations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong background in site engineering and construction management.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hands-on experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to read and interpret construction and design drawings.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience with procurement and equipment management for ducting systems.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong focus on client relations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to ducting.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Track record of working on large-scale projects, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources.\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\n * \\n\\n Relevant industry certifications and qualifications (e.g.
