Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Design Manager to join an established M&E contractor based in Telford, with projects primarily across the Midlands. The successful candidate can be either mechanically or electrically biased, with a strong understanding of the wider M&E design process and the ability to coordinate both disciplines. This is a front-end, pre-construction focused position, responsible for overseeing the design process from RIBA Stage 3 through to Stage 5, ensuring designs are coordinated, buildable and delivered in line with client requirements. You will manage a small design team consisting of two designers, one Mechanical and one Electrical, whilst acting as a key point of contact between the design team, clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent - desirable
  • Relevant Mechanical or Electrical building services qualification
  • Relevant design / building services qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
