Air Conditioning Engineer – Birmingham & Surrounding Areas Based in Birmingham | Covering the West Midlands Full-Time | Permanent £35,000 – £42,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Benefits Join a Leading HVAC Engineering Provider – 30+ Years of Excellence A well-established air conditioning and heating services company is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team, delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and service solutions across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. With over three decades of experience, the company has earned a strong reputation for reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally conscious HVAC services for commercial, industrial, and retail clients. Service areas include Walsall, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Dudley, Telford, and surrounding locations. Your Role You’ll be responsible for: * Installing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of air conditioning systems (split, VRV/VRF, multi-split) * Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs * Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive callouts * Working on a range of commercial and industrial sites * Delivering professional, customer-focused service at all times * Occasional stay outs (1-2 times per month) What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in air conditioning installation and servicing * F-Gas Certification (Category 1) – essential * NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (preferred) * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong fault-finding, repair, and diagnostic skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team What’s on Offer * Competitive salary: £35,000 – £42,000, depending on experience * Company van + fuel card * Overtime & call-out opportunities (with additional pay) * Tools, uniform, and PPE provided * Ongoing training & development * Supportive team environment and long-term career progression
