Red Rhino Resourcing are currently seeking reliable HGV Cat C Drivers for full-time, ongoing positions based in Portbury (BS20) . This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for stable and consistent work through the peak period and beyond.
Position Summary:
As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will be responsible for delivering chilled and frozen meals to care homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. This is a customer-facing role , so professionalism, reliability, and excellent service are essential. The role may involve multi-drop deliveries , with some manual handling and unloading.
Key Benefits:
Pay Rate: £19.05 per hour inc. holiday
Start Times: Between 4:00am 6:00am
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Weekly Pay
Your Responsibilities:
Complete between 512 deliveries per day to healthcare locations
Deliver goods safely, efficiently, and professionally
Assist with manual handling and unloading cages or palletised goods
Deliver excellent customer service
Maintain accurate delivery documentation
Candidate Requirements:
Full UK Category C (HGV Class 2) Licence – at least 1 year
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 9 penalty points
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
