We\’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Drivers to join our client\’s busy and growing international removals team in Thurrock.
As a Removals Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the warehouse facility and operating forklift equipment involved in providing efficient and effective warehouse services related to moving customers\’ household and personal possessions.
Removals Forklift Driver duties include:
- Managing the check-in and check-out of goods
- Moving and unloading storage containers (manual handling)
- Providing assistance to HGV Drivers and Porters in moving and handling customer goods when required
- Operating the forklift and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into locations
- Completing the necessary paperwork
- Undertaking forklift safety checks and reporting any defects
- Following H&S guidelines and carrying out Banks-person duties when required
- Undertaking regular training as required
We\’re keen to speak to experienced forklift drivers with valid Reach and Counterbalance licenses, along with warehouse and problem-solving skills required for this position. This role suits forklift drivers who have held similar positions for at least one year and are seeking a new challenge within the removals industry.
In return, the successful Removals FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative will be offered up to £33,000, depending on skills and experience.
