Salary: Up to £32,750 per annum (depending on experience)

Join a busy and growing international removals team in Purfleet as a Removals 3.5T Driver. You\’ll be responsible for driving, moving and handling customers\’ possessions safely and efficiently across the UK and Europe.
Having a full UK driving licence and physical strength is vital for this role.
What you\’ll do
- Initially shadowing current Drivers to secure knowledge of the role, routes and build confidence.
- Interacting and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues in the movement of goods across UK and Europe.
- Providing assistance in the moving and handling of customer goods, including driving to and from location (long and short distances) across the UK and Europe.
- Packing and wrapping customer goods before manually and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into location.
- Completing the necessary on the job paperwork to a high standard.
- Undertaking daily vehicle and safety checks, routine maintenance (e.g. oil and water checks) and report any defects.
- Follow H&S Guidelines and carrying out Banks-person duties.
- Undertake the regular training required.
What you need
- Previous experience in removals, logistics, or furniture delivery preferred
- Previous warehouse / forklift experience would also be an advantage.
- Full UK Category B driving licence for 3.5T vehicles
- Physical strength and fitness for manual handling tasks
- Customer service skills, reliability, and problem-solving ability
