Our client, a respected and growing company in the UK removals industry, is looking to appoint an energetic, customer‑driven Removals & Self Storage Manager to take ownership of the day‑to‑day operations of our self‑storage facility while actively growing new business within the local community.
What you’ll do:
This Removals & Self Storage Site Manager role is hands‑on with responsibilities encompassing site management, customer service and proactive sales. Key Duties include:
- Overseeing the daily operation and performance of the self‑storage facility
- Driving revenue growth for both the storage site and the local moving service through proactive sales and lead conversion
- Carrying out home visits from qualified leads to identify customer needs and increase branch revenue
- Handling customer enquiries, bookings, contracts, and payments
- Delivering first‑class customer service, ensuring every customer has a positive experience
- Maintaining site security, cleanliness, and health & safety standards
- Conducting regular unit inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Managing stock availability
- Maximizing every customer lead to increase branch revenue via bookings
- Pricing accurately in accordance to demand in order to create long‑term storage occupancy
- Achieving company targets with effective management of P&L review
