Salary: Circa £35,000 DOE + Realistic OTE £50,000+

Location: Worcestershire

Start Date: ASAP

Position: Permanent, Full Time - Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Holiday: 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and growing international logistics provider, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Sales Executive to join their team based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to develop their career within the freight forwarding and logistics sector or for someone from an operational background looking to move into sales.

What you'll do

  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and client engagement
  • Manage and develop existing customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
  • Source competitive rates across air freight, road freight and sea freight services
  • Prepare, present and follow up tailored quotations
  • Convert opportunities into new business and trial bookings
  • Attend client meetings both on-site and off-site when required
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery
  • Support internal departments with client communications as required
  • Maintain an organised sales pipeline and accurate records

What you need

  • Proven B2B sales or telesales experience or for someone from an operational background looking to move into sales
  • Freight forwarding or logistics experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly motivated with proactive approach to winning new business
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a professional approach
