Storage Site Assistant – Part Time
Salary: £17,485 per annum (part-time, 25 hours per week)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 1pm–6pm plus one Saturday per month 9am–1pm
Location: Birmingham B33
Start: ASAP
Take on a flexible, hands-on role with a busy independent storage company in Birmingham, supporting daily site operations while providing excellent customer service. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-class customer service to all site visitors
- Support administration and basic accounts tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept site, indoors and outdoors
- Carry out minor maintenance, painting and general repairs
- Assist with site opening, closing, alarms and daily operational procedures
What you need
- Experience in storage, facilities, or operational support roles
- Customer service experience, ideally in a hands-on environment
- Administration or basic accounting knowledge
- Experience with site maintenance, repairs, or grounds keeping
- Organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks
- Awareness of Health & Safety requirements and site compliance
