As Assistant Branch Manager, you will support the Branch Manager in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating teams and logistics, and ensuring high-quality service for customers. This role is ideal for someone with removals or logistics experience looking to grow into a management position.

What you’ll do:

  • Support branch operations, including scheduling crews, allocating vehicles, and overseeing removals and storage tasks.
  • Handle customer enquiries, resolve escalations, and ensure smooth invoicing and billing processes.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, transport rules, and internal procedures.
  • Assist with staff coaching, mentoring, and performance tracking to build a strong, reliable team.
  • Help monitor branch performance, including efficiency, cost control, and service quality.

What you need:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in removals, logistics, or transport operations.
  • Previous supervisory or assistant management experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and crew scheduling, storage management, and logistics planning.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS, CRM, or similar).
  • Full UK driving licence; commercial licence is advantageous.
