This full-time role is Devon based with an immediate start to join a business that has a fantastic reputation and a desire to continue growing. The opportunity to take a central role in the development of the department; and A supportive working environment with importance placed on a healthy work/life balanceKey Responsibilities of a Solicitor: Manage a varied caseload of private client matters to include the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection work Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients, ensuring a high level of client care and confidentiality at all times. Draft and review legal documents such as Wills, Trusts, Deeds of Variation, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Conduct client meetings (both in-person and virtual) to take instructions, provide updates, and progress matters in a professional and empathetic manner. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with SRA regulations, GDPR, and firm policies.Key Skills and Responsibilities of a Solicitor: Have a minimum of 3yrs PQE Be able to demonstrate excellent client care skills Be able to work harmoniously within the team Be enthusiastic and willing to engage in the business development of the department Be able to demonstrate consistent fee earning Be STEP Qualified and have SFE membership β however, this is not essential, and training is generally available for the right candidate.If you are interested in this position as a solicitor and have the relevant skills and experience required, please apply now!
