Red Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Accountant in Keynsham, Bristol to join our client. Our client is a firm of accountants who pride themselves on giving businesses the time and effort it deserves. Their aim is to help businesses focus on important business decisions, by simplifying compliance and proactively interacting with their clients on day to day financial matters.
The salary for this position is up to £50,000 per annum and is a fully office based role.
Benefits and Package for a Senior Accountant:
- Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (part-time hours are also available)

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant:
- Preparing management accounts for key clients
- Liaising with clients regarding their accounting systems and record keeping, along with other accounting functions
- Preparing statutory accounts for micro-entities and small companies
- Preparing corporation tax returns and computations
- Meeting clients to review their internal systems and accounting records
- Producing sets of accounts for small businesses and companies
Key Skills and Experience of a Senior Accountant:
- 3 years of minimum accountancy practice experience is required
- You must have experience working in a practice
- You must be fluent in English as you will be required to speak to a range of people of all different levels
- You must already hold an AAT qualification (at a minimum)
- IRIS and XERO qualifications are also desirable, along with an ACA or ACCA qualification
- You will need to have high attention to detail as well as strong communication skills
