Due to continued expansion, our client based just South of Market Drayton is seeking a General Sales Assistant to assist with face to face, telephone and email customer queries and sales in their retail outlet using an EPOS till system.

Due to the nature of the products they sell, this role is also physically demanding so you must be happy to undertake heavy lifting as well as being on your feet a lot of the day. The role also involves stock control and some warehouse duties including assisting with taking deliveries.

You will also get involved in delivering orders using the company van, so a full driving license is essential.

Working in a very friendly and thriving company offering a varied and interesting position to work in a very established company. This is a temporary position turning permanent after a probationary period with full-time hours; Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm and every other Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm with two days off through the week in lieu with overtime available at a highly competitive rate of £8.50 per hour increasing to £9 per hour after probationary period.

Due to the location of the client and the delivery driving requirement, it is essential that you drive and have your own transport.
