This is a great time to join a progressive, energetic and friendly sales team. This role is varied and exciting with a great product and service to sell. The role will include business development, account management, and inbound enquiry handing along with national travel and attendance at industry events. There is plenty of autonomy and scope for personal development. With no two days ever the same, they are looking for motivated people who enjoy a challenge and are passionate about being the best in their field. What are we looking for in the successful Sales Manager? The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience, minimum 2 years. Venue, events industry, service industry or hospitality experience is an advantage. Competitive edge the national events industry is increasingly busy with new, emerging and developing destinations and venues and this individual needs to understand the critical role they play in keeping the venue on the national events map. Energy and positive attitude this is a role which is revenue targeted and client led, with daily conflicting deadlines and demands. This individual needs to enjoy being busy, be motivated and possess a consistent energy and determination to succeed. Perceptive and a talented negotiator, persuader and influencer. Team Focused the annual target is achieved by a group of sales managers, and we require our sales managers to work collaboratively to achieve the best commercial outcome for the business. Commercially Astute an understanding of business profit rather than just turnover will be an advantage. Communication excellent verbal, written, presentation and inter-personal skills. IT literate proficient in word, excel, e-mail and databases. Full clean driving license and access to a car as national travel is a requirement of this role.
