We are currently recruiting for a Hinge Joint Machine Operator. This role involves setting up, running, monitoring, and maintaining hinge joint machines while ensuring consistent output and minimal downtime.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate hinge joint machines efficiently and safely
- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Monitor production quality and make adjustments as required
- Load materials into the machine
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
- Identify and fix mechanical faults
- Repair machinery breakdowns where possible
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate production records
- Work to daily production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years machine operating/engineering experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Good mechanical awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be numerical and literate
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for machine setup and maintenance
- Manual handling of materials
- Comfortable working in a factory or production environment
Shift: Monday to Friday Night shift: 10pm-6am, £16.50ph
