We are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist / General Operative to join the manufacturing team in Corby. The role will involve operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture and assemble rubber and fabric-based products, alongside general production duties within the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Sewing and assembling materials to required specifications
- Following production instructions and drawings where required
- Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
- Cutting, preparing and handling materials
- Carrying out general production and manufacturing duties
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Meeting production targets and deadlines
- Following company health & safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy production team

- Have previous experience using an industrial sewing machine
- Be confident working with different materials
- Have good attention to detail and accuracy
