Our client, a leading grower, importer, and packer of fresh salad crops supplying wholesalers, processors, and retailers, is looking for a Quality Controller Operative to join their team based in Hampton Lucy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive environment with real potential for growth and development.
What We're Looking For:
- Good understanding of English (essential)
- Computer literate and confident using QC/dispatch software
- A strong team player with great attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in food production is desirable; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience with powered pedestrian trucks is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality intake checks and assign scores
- Complete secondary product, packaging, and label checks
- Conduct positive release assessments
- Monitor stock quality to ensure customer standards are met
- Maintain accurate QC records and documentation
- Support internal audits and staff training
- Follow company health & safety policies at all times
