Permanent | Full-Time Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to join a well-established manufacturing business?
This is a hands-on role where you'll support production quality, drive continuous improvement and ensure products meet the highest standards.
The Role Working closely with Production and Engineering, you will: Support quality activities from incoming inspection through to final product release.
Inspect fabricated and welded components against engineering drawings and specifications.
Raise and manage non-conformances, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain work instructions, inspection plans and quality documentation.
Monitor quality KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
Supervise and develop a small team of Quality Inspectors.
Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and internal/external audits.
About You You'll have: Experience in a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Technician role within manufacturing.
Knowledge of fabrication, welding and mechanical assembly.
Experience reading engineering drawings and carrying out visual weld inspections.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge quality issues.
Desirable: CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector qualification (or equivalent).
Internal Auditor qualification.
Experience within heavy engineering, access equipment, lifting equipment or similar industries.
