We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative with forklift driving skills to join our client's team in Corby. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing materials/stock, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the facility. Duties

  • Operate forklift and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods.
  • Manage stock using the warehouse management system, ensuring accurate recording of inventory movements.
  • Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols during loading and unloading processes.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including checking deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and report faults promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the team with general warehouse duties, including stock organisation and data entry.

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse management systems and materials handling procedures.
  • Valid forklift license with demonstrated experience operating various types of forklifts (Flexi Bendi).
  • Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes and inventory control.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management.
  • Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred, along with familiarity with warehouse safety protocols.
