Our client based in Wellingborough are looking for a Hinge Joint Machine Operator. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the equipment is set in accordance with setting instructions.
- Complete production paperwork accurately and punctually.
- Use measuring equipment, as required.
- Check raw materials for quality and size.
- Repair machinery breakdowns where possible.
- Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Set up machines based on specifications.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of 2 years machine operating/engineering experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be numerate and literate.
- Have the ability to use Vernier callipers and micrometre measuring equipment.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for machine setup and maintenance.
Working hours: Day Shift Monday to Friday 6am-2pm, £13.75. Nights available - Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am.
Job Type: Full-time temp to perm.
