Property Manager – Maintenance & Compliance Salary: £30,000 per annum Location: Birmingham
We are seeking an organised and proactive Property Manager to join a growing business, overseeing day-to-day property maintenance, tenant communication and property management administration. This role would suit someone with at least 2 years' experience in property management or lettings, who is confident managing maintenance issues, dealing with tenants and keeping properties compliant.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and tenants. Manage rent arrears and follow up on outstanding payments. Handle deposit disputes and assist with eviction processes. Monitor safety certificates and ensure property compliance requirements are met. Keep up to date with relevant legislation and industry changes. Provide excellent customer service and identify opportunities to improve processes.
The Ideal Candidate At least 2 years' relevant property management or lettings experience. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. Confident dealing with tenants, contractors and challenging situations. Able to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach with the ability to suggest new ideas and improvements.
