Job Description Engineering / Handy Person\n Salary: £40,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm Job Description\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering / Handy Person to join a busy and well-established business on a permanent basis. \n This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong practical background who is confident carrying out general maintenance, repairs and engineering-related tasks across the site. Key Responsibilities\n \n Carry out general building and site maintenance \n Complete repairs and maintenance of equipment, machinery and facilities \n Identify faults and carry out basic troubleshooting \n Undertake mechanical repairs and adjustments where required \n Carry out general plumbing, electrical and maintenance tasks \n Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively \n Assist with preventative maintenance across the site \n Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment \n Respond to maintenance issues and breakdowns as required \n Support contractors and external engineers when required \n Complete general handyman and improvement projects around the site \n The Ideal Candidate\n \n Previous experience in an engineering, maintenance or multi-skilled handyman role \n Strong practical and mechanical ability \n Confident using hand and power tools \n Able to diagnose and resolve basic maintenance issues \n Good problem-solving skills \n Reliable, flexible and able to work independently \n Good attention to detail \n Health & Safety conscious \n Engineering or maintenance qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential \n Benefits\n \n £40,000 per annum \n Permanent position \n Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm \n Stable, long-term employment \n Varied and hands-on role \n Opportunity to work within an established business \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
