£70,000 - £80,000 We are recruiting on behalf of a growing business for a commercially focused Financial Controller.

Reporting directly to the Executive Directors, you will take ownership of financial control, reporting, and governance, while also driving systems improvements and supporting operational performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities Lead all financial control activities and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
Support year-end audits and attend board meetings in an advisory capacity.
Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
Drive improvements to ERP and finance systems, reporting, and processes.
Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve business performance and efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support strategic business decisions.
About You Qualified Chartered Accountant or finalist nearing completion.
Previous experience within a manufacturing or trading environment.
Strong understanding of management accounts, cash flow, balance sheets, credit control, and ledgers.
Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ambitious, inquisitive, and keen to progress into a senior leadership role.
Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment and able to build credibility across the business.
