Our client, an engineering design and build company based in Kettering, are looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review & analysis of monthly & quarterly numbers and disclosures.
- Providing management team with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategising.
- Preparing monthly reporting for France.
- Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.
- Taking care of tax preparation duties / liaising with external accountants for tax preparation.
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents.
- Supervising the internal accounting team.
- Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll management.
- Preparing Cashflow Reports.
- Preparing Monthly Sage Supplier Import Spreadsheet.
- Preparing month end & mid-month pay runs and upload to the bank.
- Checking costings to ensure invoiced correctly.
- Liaise with funders for finance opportunities.
- Monitoring and tracking customer payments.
- Ensure overdue payments are chased.
- Process & Reconcile incoming payments.
- Reconcile Bank statements.
- Process EU invoices in Sage.
- Compiling monthly payment/€uro exposure data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Checking and matching C88 statements from HMRC, request relevant paperwork as required.
- Prepare a monthly aftersales report to ensure Sales orders and jobs are invoiced out.
- Reconcile supplier accounts against Sage.
- Any other duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Good Interpersonal skills.

- Thorough Understanding of company procedures.

- Excellent Telephone Manner.
- Experience in Sage 50 Accounts.
- Level 3 AAT Qualifications.
This Role is office-based Monday to Thursday 08.00Hrs to 17.00Hrs & 08.00hrs to 14.00hrs on Friday.
