Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a busy cardboard packaging company in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with manufacturing or machine operating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and helping maintain smooth production throughout the shift.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring cardboard packaging machinery
  • Setting up machines for production runs
  • Feeding materials into machines safely and efficiently
  • Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Packing and stacking products ready for dispatch
  • Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required
  • Reporting faults or breakdowns to supervisors/maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
