We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial sewing machines and possess a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality products. Duties
- Operate various types of industrial sewing machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications.
- Ensure consistent quality by inspecting finished work for defects or irregularities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot sewing equipment, performing basic repairs when necessary.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in organising materials and supplies within the workspace for efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in sewing, preferably with industrial sewing machines.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
