The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Machine Operator to keep our clients' packaging lines running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting packaging machinery to ensure products are packed safely, efficiently, and to spec. Basically: keep the machines happy and the line moving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up machines for different product runs and changeovers
- Monitor production to ensure quality, accuracy, and output targets are met
- Adjust machine settings if required
- Complete production paperwork and quality checks if requested
- Follow all health & safety, food hygiene (if applicable), and company procedures
- Work closely with team leaders, engineers, and quality teams
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Comfortable working with automated or semi-automated machinery
- Ability to work to production targets and quality standards
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and happy working as part of a team
Working hours:
Monday to Friday Temp to Perm. 07.00am-17.00pm or 17.00pm-01.00am.
