Pay: £12.71 per hour Job Description: Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 15:30 * Friday: 07:30 – 15:00 Job Overview: We are currently seeking a team of reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team. The role involves maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard, ensuring green spaces are tidy, safe, and well presented. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: * Grass cutting using ride-on and pedestrian lawn mowers * Strimming and edging around pathways, fences, and landscaped areas * Hedge trimming, pruning, and general vegetation control * Maintaining flower beds, borders, and planted areas * Operating and maintaining power tools and equipment safely * Clearing leaves, litter, and debris from grounds and outdoor spaces * Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety guidelines Requirements: * Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or similar outdoor work * Experience using equipment such as lawn mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and other power tools * Full UK driving licence and towing experience essential * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic * Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: * £12.71 per hour * Consistent weekday working hours with early finish on Fridays How to Apply: If you are hardworking, reliable, and enjoy outdoor work, we would love to hear from you.
