We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling various tasks related to the storage and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.

* Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.

* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all safety regulations.

* Maintain an organised warehouse environment, including proper stock management.

* Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.

* Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with standards.

* Assist in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a positive working atmosphere.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.

* UK Driving licence essential.

* In date FLT Counterbalance licence advantages.

* Familiarity with picking, packing, and quality control processes is advantageous.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role.

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.

* £14.00 – £15.00 per hour.
