We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client, a national glass distribution company located close to the Yardley area of Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual seeking the opportunity of a permanent position after a successful 12-week trial period.
The Role
Working within a busy warehouse environment handling glass product, therefore attention to detail and safe handling are essential as to avoid damage and breakages. Full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
Duties Include
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Picking and preparing orders
- Handling glass products carefully and safely
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Following health and safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate
- Diligent and careful in their work
- Self-motivated and able to use their own initiative
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided
Hours of work: 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday (No weekends)
