The Opportunity
Warehouse Supervisor to join our expanding team. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our operations, overseeing Incoming Goods, Despatch, Waste Management, and supporting our fast‑paced manufacturing processes. The Role: Leadership & Logistics
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure the seamless flow of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining a robust system that meets our high‑growth business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Goods In & Out: Coordinate all deliveries—inspecting, booking in, batch‑labelling, and allocating stock via our barcoding and Sage 200 system.
- Manufacturing Support: Work closely with the Manufacturing Team to ensure jobs are supplied and completed to the highest standards within allocated times.
- Fleet & Facility Management: Oversee daily vehicle checks, interior cleaning, and maintenance records. You will also hold daily responsibility for our off‑site storage facility.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure 100% adherence to Health & Safety policies, as well as our BRC and FSC Accreditations.
- Waste & Inventory: Assist with site waste/recycling responsibilities and play a key role in company stock takes.
- Transport: Assist the Team Leader with the delivery of materials and goods between suppliers, storage, and customers.
Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Industry Background: Proven experience in a fast‑paced warehouse and manufacturing environment (Packaging experience is a major advantage).
- Systems: Proficiency in Sage 200 is essential for booking in and despatch notes.
- Certifications: Must hold a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence and a Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with mechanical machinery or vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
- Standards: Solid understanding of Warehouse Health & Safety and quality processes (BRC/FSC).
