The role involves loading and offloading goods to and from the delivery vehicle, completing delivery proof paperwork, and handling cash occasionally when on client deliveries.
The vehicle is a Mercedes Sprinter long wheel‑base van; all fleet vehicles are modern, less than 3 years old, and maintained meticulously. Applicants must have at least 2 years of night‑time van‑driving experience to be successful. Drivers must be over 25 years old, possess a clean driver’s licence, and have no previous DR, IN, DD, or CD convictions, as these are not accepted for insurance reasons.
Basic working hours are 17:00 to 03:00 plus overtime, Monday to Friday. Salary: £12.71 per hour for temporary work, becoming permanent after 2 weeks with an immediate start available following an on‑site interview on 27 May.
