Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabrication Sales Manager to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Stourbridge. Specialising in laser cutting, CNC punching, metal pressing and sheet metal fabrication, our client is looking for a driven sales professional with a strong engineering or fabrication background to develop existing customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities within manufacturing and engineering sectors
- Preparing quotations and following up on sales enquiries
- Working closely with production teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Managing customer accounts and providing a high level of service
- Conducting customer visits and attending meetings as required
- Achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or Technical Sales role
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, CNC punching, metal pressing, or related manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of developing new business and managing customer accounts
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings would be advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales
- Full UK Driving Licence
