Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for an AutoCAD Draughtsperson to join a well-established design and manufacturing company based in Brierley Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD to join a busy design team. The role will focus on producing detailed layout drawings for bespoke commercial installations, ensuring designs are practical, accurate, and meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed AutoCAD layout drawings from customer specifications
  • Designing bespoke layouts to maximise space and functionality
  • Creating and modifying worktop and component dimensions to suit project requirements
  • Amending existing drawings and incorporating customer revisions
  • Working closely with sales, production and installation teams
  • Ensuring all drawings are accurate and completed within project deadlines
  • Maintaining technical drawing records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using AutoCAD in a commercial, architectural, manufacturing or design environment
  • Ability to produce accurate layout drawings from customer briefs
  • Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
  • Experience creating bespoke layouts and modifying dimensions
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
