1. Liaise with and report to the Technical Director in all aspects of the job role.
2. Maintain all aspects of the Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the Packing Centre, as laid down in the Quality Manual.
3. Ensure compliance with all CCPs, as identified and detailed in the HAACP plan, detailed in the Quality Manual.
4. Always ensure that the on-site 'clean as you go' procedure is followed. Ensure that any egg or debris on the floor is cleared immediately.
5. Carry out inspections as laid down in the QA Manual and procedures, and where necessary to provide KPI reports for the Management Team.
6. Ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and well-maintained & calibrated condition, to ensure accurate monitoring of egg quality is achieved on a consistent basis.
7. Maintain all aspects of the job structure and report anything out of spec to the Technical Director.
8. Assist DEFRA inspectors in their duties during unannounced site inspections.
9. Be responsible for Health & Safety of all staff in the department and maintaining a safe work environment.
10. Report all hygiene policy infringements to appropriate PC Management Team members for action.
