We’re looking for a detail-driven and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. This pivotal role will oversee supplier relationships, procurement strategy, and product sourcing—ensuring operational efficiency and supporting our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supplier Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with UK and international suppliers and manufacturers.
* Negotiate competitive pricing, ensure product quality, and manage delivery timelines.
* Travel overseas occasionally to meet suppliers and assess sourcing opportunities.
* Identify and onboard new suppliers and products to enhance our offering.
* Collaborate on new product development and sourcing initiatives.
Product Management & Technical Support
* Gain in-depth technical knowledge of our product range to support demos, resolve complex queries, and troubleshoot issues.
* Provide expert guidance and training to sales and customer service teams.
* Work closely with sales to track market trends and customer feedback, shaping future product strategies.
Inventory & Logistics
* Partner with warehouse teams to implement best practices in product handling, storage, and despatch—including hands-on involvement.
* Manage contracts and relationships with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
* Ensure all products and suppliers meet relevant industry standards and legal requirements (e.g., EPR, GPSR, EUDR, Sedex, Sustainability).
* Conduct thorough due diligence on factories and suppliers to verify ethical and quality practices.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or product management is preferred—but not essential.
* Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
* Quick technical learner with the ability to understand complex product details.
* Experience in inventory control and logistics coordination.
