Job overview A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a caseworker to join a highly reputable Lincolnshire based firm. We are looking for candidates who always present a professional image to clients and collaborators, are well presented, confident and have first class communication skills. You will be hard working and able to work to tight deadlines. The conveyancing department pride themselves on providing their clients with guidance at every step of the way making their transactions run as smoothly as possible. The role is full time and is based in Sleaford. Activities will be varied and will include, but are not limited to the following: * Taking initial instructions for both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases and remortgages. * Preparing and dispatching contracts for sale and collating supporting documentation as and when necessary. * Typing correspondence and photocopying. * Managing files using the case management system (Proclaim). * Opening and maintaining files. * Liaise with clients and contacts both on the phone and in person and using our online systems * Dealing with post exchange of contract work using the case management system and preparing for completion * Overseeing completion and liaising with client and agents and other parties on the day. * Administrational duties. * Dealing with post-completion work and registrations. * To provide support to other members of the Property department as may be required. * To ensure confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information. * Routine administrative support for the office. Experience Required: * Proven IT skills including Word, Outlook, and Excel * Ideally have conveyancing experience in a similar role. * Good knowledge of property processes and procedures * Outstanding inter-personal and communication skills; good written skills are essential with close attention to detail * A friendly, positive, and pro-active approach – naturally you will have fantastic client care skills. * High standard of organisational skills required for file management, diary management and admin assistance. * Ability to use initiative.
