We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Lead to oversee daily production activities within our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food safety standards, and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor HACCP procedures to maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
- Oversee the training of staff on food safety practices and operational procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying maintenance needs and liaising with technical teams for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, quality checks, and safety audits.
- Assist in developing and improving operational workflows to optimise productivity.
- Ensure all team members follow health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production or manufacturing environments, with a focus on food safety standards such as HACCP.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to industrial equipment used in food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
