Job Overview
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, Line Leaders assist in the delivery of people management, safety, quality and daily production planning.
Primary duties & responsibilities include:
- Setting up the production line to complete specific orders.
- Overseeing production line workers and ensuring that orders are completed on time and within budget.
- Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
- Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
- Performing recordkeeping tasks, ensuring all required paperwork is completed promptly, fully and accurately.
The Candidate
- Experience in a supervisory role is required.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment – ideally in Food or FMCG would be beneficial.
- Superb leadership, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving techniques.
- Promote good working practices.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a flexible approach – must be available to work 6pm to 6am night shifts at peak periods.
