Our Client is looking for experienced tarmac / asphalt installers to join our team in Sheffield. This is ongoing work repairing and resurfacing footpaths and access routes on housing estates across Sheffield.
Role
- Working as part of a small 4 man surfacing gang completing:
- Breaking out and preparation works
- Laying tarmac/asphalt (hand lay)
- Raking, screeding and finishing to a high standard
- Edging, levels and falls
- General groundwork support when needed
- Working safely around residents and live environments
Requirements
- Proven experience laying tarmac/asphalt
- Able to work as part of a reliable surfacing gang
- CSCS card required (minimum)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Must be punctual, hardworking and professional on site
Desirable (but not essential):
- NRSWA (Streetworks)
- Roller / dumper tickets
- Experience on council / social housing work
