We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and hands-on experience with factory equipment. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards are maintained across all shifts. The Production Shift Manager will play a key role in coordinating teams, managing resources, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance.
Hours of work: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on assigned shifts to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and evaluate team members, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper operation of forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor workflow on assembly lines and coordinate with warehouse personnel for timely material handling and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment problems promptly.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on shift performance metrics.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role. Minimum 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of a manufacturing environment, minimum 3 years.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts.
- Strong leadership, communication and leadership skills.
