We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
The role is specific to flooring, offering a wide range of services from specialist waterproofing coatings for parking structures, industrial screeds and specialist resin flooring, as well as structural waterproofing and concrete/resin repairs. The right candidate will oversee a workforce of 4-8. This role will require travelling and working away all over the UK; mileage, accommodation and meals are provided for. Some weekend work will be required. Overtime will be paid over 40 hours.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Manage a team of workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Monitor work performance and productivity, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Maintain effective communication with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and professionally.
- Prepare reports on site activities, including progress updates and incident reports.
- Proven experience in supervising teams within a relevant industry.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and make decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the site environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- MUST have CSCS card, minimum; SSSTS would be advantageous although not essential.
- Must have own transport to travel to site. All PPE is provided.
- Experienced in resin/concrete.
