Our client, a business supplier of natural food and ingredients, is looking for a qualified Bookkeeper to join their team based in London.

What you'll do:

A typical day will involve taking responsibility for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that the company's day-to-day accounting transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. The role supports the financial health of the business through effective bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, management of sales and purchase ledgers, VAT compliance, and preparation of information for management accounts and statutory reporting.

Key duties include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • General Ledger / Banking
  • Cash Management
  • VAT Returns in accordance with HMRC regulations
  • Payroll Support
  • Month-End Reporting
  • Credit Control

What you need:

We're keen to speak to self-motivated and organised finance professionals, who have 3+ years' experience working with stock-based businesses, within an SME environment.

  • AAT Level 3 or Level 4 qualification, or equivalent ICB / ACCA
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Experience preparing VAT returns
  • Experience with bank reconciliations
  • Purchase and sales ledger experience
