Our client, a leading independently owned freight company specialising in European logistics and road freight solutions, is currently seeking an experienced Senior European Road Freight Operator to join their team based in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable European Road Freight professional who has strong operational experience across import and export movements between the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day running of European road freight operations, working closely with customers, suppliers, hauliers and internal teams to ensure a high-quality service is delivered from start to finish. The role will involve handling European road freight movements across markets including France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Hungary.
You will be responsible for planning, organising and managing shipments, negotiating rates, sourcing transport solutions and ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.
