An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Controller to work for our established Removals client who offers packing, removals and storage services in Manchester. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping daily warehouse functions running efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining high service standards. You will be responsible for the recording and control of documentation and files within the department.
What you'll do:
- Administer all warehouse documents and ensure all consignments are photographed on arrival into the warehouse.
- Update computer system on a day-to-day basis as necessary.
- Communication with the Operations Team / RQM.
- Customer liaison and communication link between the company and our clients including internal relationships.
- Ensuring all clients are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner.
- Ensuring all consignments received in and handed out are quality checked and meet the company's standards.
- To operate forklift trucks and crane equipment.
- Warehouse and road crew duties as required.
- To assist in the operational department when required.
What you need:
- Qualified Forklift truck operator.
