About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operator to join their busy Freight Forwarding team based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid ocean export experience who is available to start quickly and is looking for a role that could become permanent.
What you'll do: Working within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment, you will be responsible for managing ocean export shipments from booking through to vessel departure, ensuring freight moves efficiently whilst providing exceptional customer service and maintaining full compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Manage ocean export shipments from booking through to vessel departure.
- Liaise with customers to obtain shipping instructions and all required export documentation.
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines and transport providers.
- Coordinate cargo collections and ensure shipments meet all cut-off times.
